IDC Names DaaX an Agentic AI Innovator

DaaX recognized among four innovators building context infrastructure designed to make AI agents more reliable, grounded, governed, and traceable

SANTA CLARA, Calif., September 28, 2026 — DaaX today announced that it has been named an IDC Innovator in the new report, IDC Innovators: Context Infrastructure for Agentic AI, 2026, authored by Amy Machado, Research Director, Content and Knowledge Discovery Strategies.

The IDC report names DaaX as one of a select group of four Innovators developing technologies for a new category of infrastructure designed to provide AI agents with the context they need to operate reliably.

IDC describes the premise behind this emerging category simply: "An agent's reliability depends on the context it reasons over, not just the model behind it."

According to IDC, context infrastructure involves structuring information so its meaning survives machine processing, grounding answers in verifiable evidence rather than relying on model inference alone, governing what agents are permitted to access and do, and maintaining traceability to original sources.

"We are delighted by IDC's recognition," said Sunil Baliga, Co-Founder and CEO of DaaX. "We believe it validates a principle that has driven DaaX from the beginning - that LLMs need a helping hand to solve the AI reliability problem. Our neuro-symbolic AI technology is the helping hand needed to drive hallucinations toward zero and deliver the most trustworthy AI for enterprises."

    Building Infrastructure for Trustworthy AI

DaaX's neuro-symbolic technology combines large language models with knowledge graphs, retrieval, symbolic reasoning, ClaimGuard verification, provenance, Domain Knowledge Cartridges, and Company Language Cartridges.

The architecture powers DaaX products including LAKEer, which enables natural-language access to unstructured enterprise information, and SQLer, which enables natural-language access to structured data through SQL.

Rather than relying solely on an LLM to generate an answer, DaaX provides additional context and computational mechanisms designed to understand enterprise information, reason over it, verify resulting claims, and preserve the evidence behind an answer.

This approach aligns with the emerging context infrastructure described by IDC — providing agents with information that is structured, grounded, governed, and traceable.

    Trustworthiness Proven by Benchmark

DaaX has also made independent benchmarking a central part of its approach to AI trustworthiness.

Earlier this year, DaaX's LAKEer achieved a top 77.7 score on the Google DeepMind FACTS AI Factuality benchmark, beating out previously #1 Gemini 2.5 Pro. The FACTS Benchmark Suite was developed by Google DeepMind and Google Research to evaluate the factuality of large language model responses.

The combination of benchmark-driven measurement and DaaX's neuro-symbolic architecture reflects the company's broader objective, which is making the trustworthiness of enterprise AI measurable rather than simply claimed.

    About DaaX

DaaX Technologies Inc. is an AI startup headquartered in Silicon Valley developing technology for trustworthy enterprise AI. Its products enable organizations and AI agents to query structured and unstructured enterprise data using natural language.

Built on a patent-pending neuro-symbolic architecture, DaaX combines large language models with knowledge graphs, retrieval, reasoning, verification, provenance, Domain Knowledge Cartridges, and Company Language Cartridges to deliver accurate and traceable answers from enterprise data.

DaaX's mission is to deliver the most trustworthy answers and agentic workflows, with trust measured through industry-standard benchmarks rather than claims.
